About

I am a journalist and photographer covering current affairs, energy development, environment, public policy and Indigenous issues. With crisp writing I engage readers in complicated stories. A curious and critical researcher, I find stories that matter, and tell them with depth and care to get at what’s really going on.

My recent investigation on the economic, legal and environmental issues surrounding the proposed Site C Dam in northeastern British Columbia has been nominated for national awards. I’ve worked with The New York Times, The Tyee, Canadian Geographic, The Discourse and CBC.

I have a Master of Journalism from UBC.

Previously, I earned a BBA in Entrepreneurial Leadership at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
